QUATRE ESCALIERS
ET UN GRAND JARDIN

The design of the new Sainte Famille foyer and daycare buildings are defined by a strong will to limit construction on site to the minimum. Implanted with a minimal footprint on a plot with a complex geometry, the need for high-quality spaces adapted to the different programs was primordial. Our concept was based on delimiting the programs into two separate entities in constant dialogue with each other on the ground floor thanks to a clear landscape plan. The latter offers each building their dedicated outdoor spaces. On one hand, the foyer building recalls the character of a Swiss townhouse, and inserts itself as a humble and discrete intervention on site. On the other hand, the facade of the daycare center adopts a more expressive and playful approach which reflects a comforting and welcoming building for the children.
